Do you want to expand into one-on-one coaching or deepen the impact of your coaching work? If so, join our free teleclass. It will build your ability to guide others through career and personal change while enhancing your own success and fulfillment. We will give you a comprehensive coaching model that can help you assess your coaching skills and identify areas for further development. You will learn how to enhance your presence as a coach and build effective coaching relationships.

The Facilitative Coach helps our clients

  • Set and meet challenging work goals
  • Design and start new business ventures
  • Discover untapped creativity
  • Turn around difficult personal and work relationships
  • Gain new levels of confidence, competence and personal satisfaction
Using our approach to coaching, you will be able to help clients shift their beliefs and behaviors to achieve specific goals and engage in fundamental personal transformation. That's because The Facilitative Coach integrates the Skilled Facilitator approach to effective human interaction with the knowledge and wisdom born of over 30 years of successful individual and small group coaching. It focuses not just on tools and techniques but on how people think and act. We help you -- and help you guide your clients -- to change the way you think so you can realize dreams and get results you never thought possible.

If you are a leader who needs to coach informally and formally, we can show you how to use the same set skills you apply in other roles to powerful coaching. Our approach builds on the principles of facilitative leadership for working effectively with groups and individuals; you don't have to learn a separate set of principles and skills.

Our teleclass will give you a fast-paced, practical introduction to facilitative coaching. We'll include some of your questions in the session and answer additional questions by email following the session.

In this Session, we cover the following:

  • Defining Coaching. Develop a guiding definition of coaching that can help you define your role and explain it to clients. We'll share and discuss our definition and help you think about your own.
  • Developing a Sound Coaching Foundation. In our experience, it is not enough to have a set of steps, tools and techniques. The wise coach has a solid theoretical foundation and a model that guides practical application of those theories. We will introduce you to our 9-part coaching model and share the fundamental concepts that guide facilitative coaching. These include Mutual Learning and Unilateral control, the principles of The Skilled Facilitator approach, the Drama Triangle, and the Life-Learning model.
  • Doing Your Own Inner Work. Doing your own inner work is essential for helping others generate purposeful, creative results. We'll offer guidance for developing awareness of your coaching gifts, expanding your capacity for compassion and fully attending to yourself and others during coaching sessions.
  • Developing the Coaching Relationship. Jointly designing clear roles, boundaries, guidelines and goals with your clients, both at the outset and during the coaching engagement, creates a strong foundation for your work together. We'll explore how to create a clear agreement that increases your clients' commitment to change.
  • Expanding Your Intervention Repertoire. We use a wide range of coaching techniques that appeal to multiple ways of learning. We will share examples of how we use a broad repertoire of interventions, from testing assumptions to guided imagery to writing and drawing. And we will focus on developing zesty questions to guide your clients' self-reflection and growth no matter which interventions you choose.
If you want to expand your coaching effectiveness, join us for this teleclass. It is designed for you. We think you will gain principles you can put to work right away. We are certain all of us who participate will learn from one another.
